About
Provides services for veterans in Alexandria and Shreveport, LA, ranging from emergency shelter to permanent housing all with the necessary support to move forward and live independently. In addition to the veterans transitional living program, Volunteers of America North Louisiana offers Safe Haven to immediately house veterans living on the street, Veterans Treatment Court to help non-violent veteran offenders work out their sentence through counseling and community service, and Supportive Services for Veteran Families to provide a short-term safety net for very low-income veterans and their families.
