Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By creating an account or using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet eligibility requirements and that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data.

The Prize App is designed to help U.S. military veterans discover, connect with, and access resources, benefits, and services offered by third-party organizations. Veterans do not pay for use of the App. Certain organizations (such as non-profits, benefit providers, or community partners) may subscribe to Prize's services to better deliver and measure their support programs.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to access restricted systems, or interfere with its security or operation.

User Control: Prize will only share your personal information with a resource organization if you explicitly authorize us to do so. You always control what information is shared and with whom. Veteran Verification via VA.gov: You may choose to verify your military service by signing in with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs at VA.gov. If you do, you authorize the VA to share your veteran status, service history, and — if you use eligibility pre-qualification features — your VA disability rating with Prize, as described in our Privacy Policy. VA.gov verification is optional, and alternative verification methods are available. Prize is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the VA. Sensitive Data: If you upload or share sensitive information such as a DD-214 or your VA disability rating, we treat it with heightened safeguards (encryption, restricted access, and audit logs). Future Features: In future versions, Prize may allow resource organizations to define eligibility requirements for their services. With your consent, our platform may check your information against those requirements without disclosing your underlying data, helping you connect to services while keeping your data private.

The App and all original content, features, and functionality are owned by Prize and protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may be able to post, upload, or contribute content within the App. You retain ownership of your content. By submitting content, you grant Prize a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, and display such content as necessary to operate the App. You are solely responsible for your content, and it must not infringe on the rights of others or violate applicable laws.
