Gives free legal assistance to individuals and families who have little or no income with cases or legal problems in housing law, domestic violence/family law, public benefits law and consumer law. Legal Aid staff and volunteers conduct initial interviews with applicants seeking assistance on certain days and times each week at two different general intake locations throughout Washington, D.C.
