About
Offers free reconstructive medical care to veterans with facial or neck injuries sustained either in combat or non-combat support activities. The Faces of Honor program, coordinated by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and its affiliated Foundation, compliments the care of DOD or VA medical facilities and medical staff by helping eligible veterans find a qualified surgeon in a fairly convenient location who is willing to provide surgical services at no cost to the patient.
